For developers
Ship code, not admin overhead.
Freelance and contract development means juggling scopes, hours, and clients who want visibility into progress. Qivora handles the business side so the status question gets answered without pulling you out of the editor.
Start freeWhat usually goes wrong
Billable hours lost between context switches
Scope changes agreed on a call and written down nowhere
Clients asking for a status update in the middle of a sprint
Invoicing that slips to the weekend, then to next weekend
What it replaces
The setup this usually takes the place of.
- A timer app whose data never reaches an invoice
- A board that tracks tasks but not who is paying for them
- A change request agreed verbally on a Thursday call
- A monthly invoice reconstructed from git history
The four parts you will open every week
All ten product areas are included on every plan. These are the ones this kind of work leans on.
Time tracking
Log hours against a task, not a vague project bucket.
Projects and tasks
Break an engagement into milestones you can bill against.
Client portal
The client checks progress themselves instead of messaging you.
Invoicing
Turn a completed milestone or logged hours into an invoice.
Example
A contract engagement
You scope the work in a proposal, sign a contract, and open a project with milestones. Time logs against tasks as you build. The client checks the portal for progress instead of pinging you mid-sprint, and each completed milestone becomes an invoice from the hours already recorded against it.
Questions developers ask
Can I bill fixed-price milestones instead of hourly?
Yes. A project can carry milestones you invoice on completion. Tracked time still runs underneath, which is how you find out afterwards whether the fixed price was a good one.
Does Qivora integrate with my git host or issue tracker?
Qivora holds its own projects and tasks and does not claim to sync with a git host. If your team lives in an issue tracker, use Qivora for the client-facing layer: scope, hours, portal, and billing.
How much does the client see in the portal?
Project status, proposals, contracts, shared files, and invoices. The portal is a client-facing view, so your internal task detail and rates are not part of it.
